The BERTOZZI firm was estabilished in 1965 by two brothers Leonildo and Guido Bertozzi. Initially the wooden picture frames manufactured by craftsmen catered mostly to the home market. Production became more up-dated and the range of products increased to include mirrors, miniatures and different furnishing components. In the early 1970's the construction of the new 6000 square meters led to the second phase of the company which was to be renowned in Italy and abroad.

Handicraft, also known as craftwork or simply craft, is a type of work
where useful and decorative devices are made completely by hand or using
only simple tools. Usually the term is applied to traditional means of
making goods. The individual artisanship of the items is a paramount
criterion, such items often have cultural and/or religious significance.
Items made by mass production or machines are not handicrafts.
A mirror is an object with at least one polished and then specularly
reflecting surface. The most familiar type of mirror is the mirror plane,
which has a flat surface. Curved mirrors are also used to produce large
images or decreased or focus light or simply distort the reflected image.
Mirrors are commonly used in personal care (in which case the old-fashioned
term "looking glass" can be used), decoration and architecture. Mirrors are
also used in scientific apparatus such as telescopes and lasers, cameras and
industrial machinery. Most mirrors are designed for visible light, but
mirrors designed for other types of waves or other wavelengths of
electromagnetic radiation are also used, especially in optical instruments.

The image seen through a mirror is called virtual, because it seems to come
from a different direction with respect to the subject matter and can not be
projected on a screen. Mirrors
A mirror plane in a beam of parallel light rays are deflected, but maintains
the parallelism of the rays. Each beam striking the mirror is reflected to
an angle identical to that of incidence. for example, if a ray arrives with
an angle of 30 ° from the vertical of the point of impact, leaving at an
angle of 30 ° from the vertical side.
In addition to the mirror plane are parabolic concave mirrors, where a beam
of light parallel to axis of symmetry undergoes a reflection that sends all
the spokes in a position on the fire. Italian Mirror
There are convex spherical mirrors, in which parallel light rays are facts
diverge, with an apparent point of intersection inside the sphere. Looking
in the mirror you see inside the ball a miniature reproduction of the world
around them. Production mirrors
Note that the spherical mirrors, concave and convex who do not have a
clearly defined focal point, but suffer from the problem known as spherical
aberration
Our production of mirrors is the result of an intensive research and are
manufactured with the best craftmanship which becames a work of art,

Printmaking is the process of making artworks by printing, normally on
paper. Printmaking normally covers only the process of creating prints
with an element of originality, rather than just being a photographic
reproduction of a painting. Except in the case of monotyping, the
process is capable of producing multiples of the same piece, which is
called a 'print'. Each piece produced is not a copy but considered 'an
original' since it is not a reproduction of another work of art and is
technically (more correctly) known as an 'impression'. Printmaking
(other than monotyping) is not chosen only for its ability to produce
multiple copies, but rather for the unique qualities that each of the
printmaking processes lends itself to.
